Day 67: This is What Happend When Your Mom Decorates Your Bedroom

This is What Happens When Your Mom Decorates Your Bedroom
11/27
While I was in college my mom decided to switch her bedroom with mine since my room was the biggest one in the house.  Though I understood her reasoning for wanting  to switch (I was staying in a dorm at Texas State so I was really only home on weekends), I got really upset about the whole move because she moved all my stuff without me. As a sentimental person, I would have liked to be able to go through my own stuff and let go of the room I grew up in in my own way.  It took me awhile to get over it, but it is water under the bridge now. This picture was taken months after the arranging of the furniture happened and I was fine with my new sleeping arrangement. This is how my mom decorated my "new" room to make it more comfortable for me since I wasn't too happy with the situation at first. It was a nice gesture, and looking back at it now I like that my mom created a environment that in her mind described me. Hawaii, Bright, & Colorful. Almost like how an artist tries to paint or draw a person. My mom is very creative person and doesn't really get to act on that most of the time, so I don't mind that she did the decorating of this room after all. Might seem simple and cheesy.....but I guess I am simple and cheesy.
