Day 36: Windy

Windy

10/27
There was a cold front blowing into San Antonio late this night and I wanted to try to capture it. This was a long exposure of the trees in my grandparents yard rustling in the wind. I really liked how abstract this picture is, it wasn't intentional, but sometimes the pictures you don't really plan on creating are the best ones.

Day 35: Fuzzy

Fuzzy

10/26
I had taken my brother to get pumpkins for Halloween at HEB. When we got home, since this was the most interesting activity I did that day, I decided the pumpkins would be the image for the day. This picture was taken through the fake spider web we had put up at my moms house. The pumpkins were sitting on the front porch waiting to be carved in a few days.

Day 34: Spot Free Rinse

10/25
I had just taken my grandparents car for a wash and thought I would play around with taking some pictures at this car wash. ( I had seen a fellow student at Texas State take some really cool ones at a car wash, so I decided to try it myself) And after I washed my car, I noticed the reflection from the car windows hitting the wall. I really enjoy the way the light is hitting the wall.

Day 33: M&M Guy

M&M Guy

10/24
I was getting out of my car at the gym and the antenna ball I have caught my attention. When I looked up at it, I liked its placement against the sky and building. I thought it would make a unique and funny picture of the day so here it is. ( I got the antenna ball from my best friend after her trip to Vegas. )

Day 32: Love Pumpkins Much?

Love Pumpkins Much?

10/23
So at 9:57...I decided I would share what my night stand looks like. Just in case you were not aware, I love pumpkins! Maybe a little too much, but I don't care, for some reason they make me really happy. So here is an example of how I feel I need pumpkins in my life. Notice there are five of them crammed into this small space, I have tons more elsewhere. And by the way.....I just don't just like to look at them, I like to eat and smell like them too) :)

Day 31: Open

Open
10/22
Today marked one month of taking pictures everyday! It actually feels like I had been doing it longer than that! ....anyway..... I had just got home to my grandparents house and the sunset was really pretty this day. I took tons of pictures of the sky, it was just so beautiful. The clouds looked like they could have been from a painting. This view is of the neighbors across the street with the sky above it. I really like the open space I captured in this picture and the light. Just a reminder of how small we are compared to the big world we live in.

Day 30: Halloween House

Halloween House
10/21
My brother and I decorated the outside of my mothers house for Halloween. As usual there were spider webs everywhere! I decided to sit out in the yard and take a long exposure of the outside of the house. Taking long exposures allows for colors to come out that you wouldn't normally see, and I really liked what colors came out of this one.

Day 29: Mirror Light

10/20
This is the light by the mirror at the bathroom sink. I liked the glow this light gave off so I took a picture of it!

Day 28: Layers of Paint

Layers of Paint
10/19
This is a painting I did last year in my Painting I class at Texas State. I am really awful at painting, but this is one of the few assignments that I actually like. The concept was "Painting the News" and my idea was to paint Spider-man on Broadway since the new musical had just come out. I also decided while I was painting it to give it to my little brother as a Christmas present. (Spider-man was his favorite super hero when he was really little.) So this is a picture of the painting I did, hanging up in my brothers bedroom. The clouds in the background are also painted on the wall by my mother several years ago when the room use to belong to my sister. It is kind of funny how many layers of paint are in this room that connect my family. The clouds painted by my mother given to my sister and spider-man painted by me given to my brother.
